A decent return for ABC1’s Monday line up – Australian Story (11th – 814,000), Four Corners (14th – 753,000), Media Watch (15th – 718,000) & Q&A (18th – 639,000) all back for the year with decent ratings, though simply blown out of the water by Seven’s double of My Kitchen Rules (1st – 1,841,000) and the return of Revenge (5th – 1,186,000). The change to an hour bulletin and dropping Today Tonight in the Eastern States for Seven News (6pm: 2nd – 1,251,000; 6:30pm: 4th – 1,209,000) looks promising though it’s still losing in MEL/SYD by a long way with only BNE/ADL/PER keeping it in front nationally (and BNE is flip-flopping all over the place). The Block: Fans v Faves (7th – 1,125,000) does well but not close to competing with MKR. The Biggest Loser: Challenge Australia doesn’t make it into the Top 20 – in fact the only two programs to do so for Ten are Ten Eyewitness News (16th – 677,000) and The Project (20th – 502,000).

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch97
6:30pm: Seven News/Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Revenge – Ch7
9:30pm: Q&A – ABC1

Seven Network won the night (%), followed by Nine Network (%), ABC Network (%) & Ten Network (%).

My Kitchen Rules gains another 101,000 viewers last week on catch up, and The Block: Fans v Faves adds 139,000 viewers – but doesn’t alter the rankings for the night.
