Primary Channels

Wednesday continues to loom large for ABC1, with Gruen Planet & Spicks & Specks again delivering strongly and winning the 8:30pm timeslot. Celebrity Apprentice Australia again did well in the second half of the show – the highest non-news program for the night, and Frozen Planet was second to Aunty’s line-up. Glee struggled again coming back in another new slot(!), and The Project has found it’s average in the mid-500,000’s which isn’t great. Home and Away was a highlight for Ch7, along with it’s 6pm news and current affairs programming.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: Celebrity Apprentice/Young Doctors – Ch9
8:30pm: Spicks and Specks/Gruen Planet – ABC1
9:30pm: The Hamster Wheel/At The Movies – ABC1

Channel 9 won the night (19.3%), followed by Channel 7 (17.7%), ABC1 (15.5%) & Channel 10 (12.8%).

I like TV. Have done since I was plonked down in front of Sesame Street & Play School as a kid in the 70's when we only had two channels. Now we have over 20 free to air channels so imagine how much time I spend on my far arse. Keep up, people. You can contact me here or tweet me at: @MolksTVTalk
