Revenge (1st – 1,415,000) wins, though down by 500,000 on it’s first night with no MKR lead in. Still smashed everything else. All things Gina Reinhart had us interested, with a repeat of an Australian Story (6th – 1,032,000) meaning the ABC put in it’s strongest 7:30-8:30pm Monday night timeslot in a long time… even if it did lose to The Big Bang Theory (7:30pm 10th – 970,000; 8pm 7th – 991,000). If only it were ratings season. Strong numbers for The Biggest Loser (8th – 982,000) means the show is only a week or so away from finishing. Ten News At Five (18th – 715,000) pulled it’s best numbers in a long time. McDonald’s Gets Grilled (16th – 761,000) leaves many agog at the shameless one hour ad that was aired, and others praying no one thought it was a real documentary – and yet it still won the 9:30pm timeslot. This discourages nothing.
