The second day of the New Year and repeats still reign supreme – Dynamo: Magician Impossible (6th – 812,000) & Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender (10th – 713,000) offer some of the more popular content watched by people that isn’t News/Public Affairs or The Big Bang Theory (7pm: 11th – 711,000; 7:30pm: 7th – 800,000; 8pm: 9th – 750,0000). Even the digital multi-channels are overrun with repeats! It’s no wonder the start of the ratings year is so big… people will watch anything after being pummelled with repeat after repeat. So little new programming has held over into 2013, & that which has – like Grimm (18th – 504,000) & Wedding Band (TBA) – isn’t capturing the imagination.
