Ratings – 01/11/11

Primary Channels

In stark contrast to yesterday, Ch9 & the ABC almost entirely frozen out of the ratings last night. Ch7 hit it big with The X Factor Australia & Australia’s Got Amazing Talent (by the way – no, it doesn’t). Celebrity Apprentice Australia did OK but was pipped by a strong Home and Away, but everyone knew Deni Hines was going home. NCIS strong for Ch10, and it’s highest rating show, though it lost to AGAT. 2nd night in and The Project fares worse than night one. It would seem the 6:30pm timeslot is poison for Ch10 at the moment.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: The X Factor Australia – Ch7
8:30pm: Australia’s Got Amazing Talent – Ch7
9:30pm: NCIS: Los Angeles – Ch10

Channel 7 won the night (26.2%), followed by Channel 10 (18.6%), Channel 9 (17.7%) & ABC1 (9.3%).

I like TV. Have done since I was plonked down in front of Sesame Street & Play School as a kid in the 70's when we only had two channels. Now we have over 20 free to air channels so imagine how much time I spend on my fat arse. Keep up, people. You can contact me here or tweet me at: @MolksTVTalk
