The Thursday night ratings wasteland continues despite some amazing offerings from SBS one and ABC2. The News leads the night with the battle well in favour of Nine News (1st – 1,260,000) and Big Brother (4th – 984,000) dropping just below one million but remaining the highest non-News for the night. Dick Smith’s Ten Bucks A Litre (11th – 708,000) does extremely well against The Footy Show(s) (10th – 710,000), and the return of The Mid-Year Ashes: Third Test – Eng v Aus Session 1 D1 (14th – 631,000) helps the Nine Network wrap up a big Thursday win.
