The first night of the Easter non-ratings period was somewhat predictable, though huge figures for Nine News Sunday (1st – 1,534,000) put it 250,000 ahead of rival Seven News – Sun (2nd – 1,381,000). The Biggest Loser Australia (6th – 1,005,000) maintained the interest that YTT had lost, and ensured Modern Family (5th – 1,055,000) & New Girl (9th – 907,000) still performed strongly. Sunday Night (3rd – 1,188,000) was only a smidgen ahead of rival 60 Minutes (4th – 1,076,000) in the long-form current affairs race, though both won their timeslots convincingly.
