In the midst of the floods in Brisbane and Ipswich, communications remained in place to allow me to speak with Josh & Stace from Star FM again. (They love me, they really love me…)
First segment was talking about the impact of the floods in Brisbane (seeing as it’s my home town). A chance for the guy on the ground to paint a word picture. Or something like that. It was great to hear that Josh and Star FM are hard at work arranging a local flood relief concert to rasie money for the people affected in Queensland.
Once we started talking TV, what else was there to talk about EXCEPT the flood coverage of the various channels. A vertible treasure trove of content, all from different angles and from different reporters looking at the same river. Riveting.
Eleven launched also, and is working hard on captivating the nation. For it’s first few days, it’s doing a pretty good job.
