The number of new programs has slowed up – highlights this week include David Attenborough: Kingdom Of Plants & the season four premiere of Glee with Aussie Dean Geyer – but it still doesn’t make Sunday night any easier. Jack Irish: Black Tide (ABC1) vs Bones (Ch7) vs House Husbands (Ch9) vs Homeland at 8:30pm will again force viewers to choose between quality first run Aussie drama and quality first run US drama.

Some significant finales too. Gruen Planet, Rake & Lowdown all come to the end of their 2012 season runs, successes all three. I Will Survive finishes up this week about 15 episodes too late.
