TV Guide for week ending 06/10/12

It’s the start of something big. For some reason, the networks have seen fit to go through a staggered 4th schedule relaunch leading into the last 8 weeks of the ratings year. Why? Because they can (and because Ch10 need to).

The Festival of the Boot continues with the 2012 NRL Grand Final running Sunday arvo on Ch9 and disrupting their schedule somewhat – not that they mind. Big Fat Gypsy Weddings are big, fat scary events, so enter at your own risk on Wednesday. AFP, a quality ObDoc from Zapruders drops back in on Thursday too.

Ch10 lead the week with a bunch of new programming including the return of New Girl for season two, NCIS for season 10 & Law & Order:SVU for season 14(!). But that’s just the beginning…

The real cream rises on Thursday night when we finally get to experience the joy that is Brynne: My Bedazzled Life. Ahhh, sweet deliciousness. It’s gold, gold, GOLD for Australia. Following later Thursday evening is the return of Beauty and the Geek Australia for season four, and this time one of the geeks is a millionaire. Nothing can go wrong here…
