It’s back (saving itself from the ignominy of competing against the last few eps of My Kitchen Rules) and with two new big-name judges along with two returning faves it’s looking to be massive. Again. Be prepared as it’s all you’ll hear about on Nine for the next couple of months (and then it’s Big Brother time). From the press release:

Kylie Minogue and will take to their big red chairs in the highly anticipated return of The Voice on Sunday, May 4, at 6.30pm on Channel Nine.

They join returning superstar Coaches Ricky Martin and Joel Madden for the third season of the entertainment blockbuster, which will premiere with four massive nights of Blind Auditions: Sunday at 6.30pm, then Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night from 7.30pm on Nine.

This season’s coaching panel welcomes two new superstar faces. Australia’s Queen of Pop Kylie Minogue brings decades of international and Grammy Award-winning experience home to coach the newest batch of Australia’s aspiring artists. She is joined by seven-time Grammy winner and producer extraordinaire, fresh from a team win on The Voice UK.

Kylie and will sit beside Good Charlotte rocker and The Voice veteran Joel Madden and Latin music superstar Ricky Martin on the stellar panel of Coaches.

A ratings smash in both 2012 and 2013, The Voice is a music competition like no other, featuring four electrifying stages: The Blind Auditions, The Battles, The Showdowns and Live Finals. Thousands of artists submit auditions for the chance to take to the stage before the four superstar Coaches in a bid to be crowned The Voice Australia.

Darren McMullen returns as host of The Voice for its third season, which promises to be the biggest yet.

The Voice is a co-production between Shine Australia and Talpa Productions. The Australian series of The Voice is filmed at Fox Studios in Sydney.
