While I was at the Channel 9 Flood Appeal Telethon call centre, I was able to get about and tweet a little bit, as well as grabs some photos & interviews with a handful of stars while we were waiting for the phones to start working again (they crashed right as the telethon started due to the overwhelming demand of callers – amazing!).
Lisa McCune was there with her son Archer (who was also answering calls) and was extremely generous with her time to talk about the upcoming 5th & final series of Sea Patrol, as well as a chance to talk about her appearance in Rake (she hadn’t had the chance to see it yet, so I had to recount how the series ended and what I thought of her episode… I lauded her role as “meaty”).

So a 13 Episode arc with a spook flavour can’t wait and another girl in the cast. Big fan of the series long story arc ever since JMS did it over 5 Seasons with Babylon 5.
She’s right the Rake role is not classic Lisa but Meaty and Confronting.
Interested to see what projects of her own she has in the works.
