Good things come in small packages. George Calombaris has been trying to convince TV audiences of that for years without success. The second season of Junior MasterChef looks to offer more of what we saw in season one (frightfully bouyant cooking kids with skills well beyond most adults) and then some. The judges are back, sans Matt Preston but with added Matt Moran, and the celebrity chefs have realised if you get the young into your cult early that they’ll willingly put their name on your 6 month wait list for a table now. But away – there is cooking to be done by small people!
I quite enjoyed the last Jr Masterchef. It seemed to keep what we liked about the first season of Masterchef. And I quite like Anna and how lovely she is with the kids.
