HOWZAT! The second part draws another strong audience and again Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War (Part 2) (1st – 2,091,000) leads the charge for the night and helps Ch9 to a big win. 60 Minutes (2nd – 1,662,000) wins at 7:30pm – albeit starting late due to Big Brother – Live Eviction (6th – 1,250,000) running late – and Sunday Night (4th – 1,468,000) takes out the 6:30pm slot. While Big Brother didn’t win its slot it’s important that it remained over one million if only for perception, and especially for the first eviction. This will likely climb over coming weeks as the audience connect more with the Housemates.
What is noticeable is the almost complete absence of Ch10 shows from the Top 10, and only four in the Top 20 – the highest rating being Modern Family ep2 rpt (12th – 554,000). In the brekky stakes, Weekend Sunrise (20th – 369,000) continues to stick it to Weekend Today (28th – 287,000).

Once again our breakfast host on Ten continues in his disgusting remarks. ‘Let all the boat people starve to death’. How does he stay there astonishes me !!
