Primary Channels
Not many people watch TV on a Saturday night. They seemed to watch the News on Ch7 (and to a lesser extent, ABC1 and Ch9), but not too much else. It seemingly was even too early for the Rugby Leage to be back with only 597,000 tuning in for the Indigenous All Stars vs NRL All Stars match. Still – it came 8th.
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Australia’s Funniest Home Videos – Ch9
7:30pm: Bed of Roses – ABC1
8:30pm: Midsomer Murders – ABC1
9:30pm: Midsomer Murders – ABC1
Though no direct winners for Ch9 other than Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, it took out the primary network race for Saturday.
Digital Multi-channels
Heartbeat, Inspector Morse, Born and bred – yadda yadda yadda it was 7Two’s night. 5.9% share – beating SBS one (5.8%) – with GO! second on 5.1%.
Consolidated figures helped Ch7, but this was Ch9’s night.
