It’s Channel 10’s choice as a second screen app, and even the ABC have had a dabble using it during the final Q&A of 2012. But what is it all about really? Their plans are impressive and aggressive, and zeebox are at pains to point out they are not a specific network’s app – rather they take on networks as partners and can develop and deliver the product to integrate into their own app or website, and most importantly deliver significant demographic viewer information they can then utilise in the sales cycle.
Craig Blair, CEO of zeebox Australia very kindly took some time to speak with me and run me through some of the finer points of business as a start-up company in Australia delivering an app to a technology hungry TV viewing market.
