…and so, we come to the final week of ratings (Week 48). Channel 7 have already won almost everything, and this week we see lots of shows wrap for the year – some forever. It’s a massive farewell to Spicks and Specks on Wednesday night, and also to Wild Boys on Sunday night. Lots of other shows ending for the year and offering prize money – Celebrity Apprentice Australia, X Factor Australia & Junior MasterChef. There’s also the end to some quality drama (The Slap) & “quality” reality TV (Beauty and the Geek). There’s even Christmas programming already appearing… for mid-November, a very Merry Christmas indeed.

New sitcom to Channel 7 over the break in Happy Endings is actually pretty funny. For summer programming.
A new must-watch is upon us with The Hour on ABC1. A cross between ‘Network’ and ‘Mad Men’, this British producxtion is emminently entertaining and will make Monday nights additionally bareable.
