Julia Zemiro has class, spunk and attitude that makes her the perfect hostess for a show filmed in a pub. With ROCKWIZ about to enter it’s 10th season on-screen, and the announcement of a national tour in the coming months, it was more than right that I speak with her about what keeps her interested in working on TV and with music nerds from around the country.
Variety is only a part of it: As one of the delightful AGONY AUNTS Julia regaled viewers this year with an insight into the female relationship psyche; and with usual sparring partner Sam Pang she led the way to EUROVISION 2012 and ensured we appreciated the event for what it is and isn’t.
Julia was very giving, giving the interview after a long day at a photo shoot and still sounding as bright and sharp as ever. I look forward to the RocKwiz team coming to Brisbane very soon so I can record a face-to-face interview with Julia and her on-screen partner in crime Brian Nankervis.
