It's not often you see unguarded politicians. We've become so used to them bleating that day's sound byte it is easy to forget these are people that live, breathe and eat too. Kitchen Cabinet, while no assurances of helping us accept that our politicians are human, does help give us an insight into Members of Parliament/guests like Christopher Pyne, Tanya Plibersek and Julie Bishop. This isn't exactly going to be an unbiased review. I personally think Frank Woodley is one of those few people who can make you laugh just by watching him walk down the street. To hear in 2011 he was developing his own series for TV made me conjure all sorts of visions as to what it might be... surely it would include some physical comedy; there'd have to be some mis-directed humour at the cost of the situation; and it would be Frank at his character-filled best. A&E Network Launch (#Foxtel)

Foxtel launched a new channel to its suite last night (Thu 16 February), targeted very specifically at the male 16-39 demographic A&E offers high-definition, first run factual content from parent US network A+E and will include local content to bolster the brand. Launching with new Cordell Jigsaw production Megatruckers A&E is a solid addition to the Foxtel package offering. The launch event was held at the Carriageworks in Darlinghurst in Sydney, and featured one of the trucks from the Megatruckers franchise and owner/star Jon Kelly. Well isn't this fun. Look at those guys having fun. Andrew seems like a fun guy. So does Paul - but look out, he might say what he really thinks (in a fun way though). There's Kathryn, reminding us she's a mum and she's fun too. How much fun is Magdelena? She loves the weather because it's so much fun. Fun. Brett Mason, by his own admission, has gotten where he has so far through tenacity and hard work. Taking the chance to work for the local paper as a cadet journalist during school paid off and opened a career the young journalist could have only dreamed of. Currently stationed in London as Network Ten's European Correspondent means long hours for live crosses and journeys into Libya and Egypt at some of the most dangerous times in recent history.
