The battle royale that turned out to be anything but. The Blacklist (1st – 1,596,000) soared while Homeland (21st – 446,000) fared very poorly… even the S02 launch of Scandal (18th – 605,000) at 9:30pm did better. All eyes of taste were on the Breaking Bad (71,000) finale which did 10,200,000 in the US which was good but softer than the launch of The Walking Dead season earlier in the year.

Channel 7 won the night (28%), followed by Channel 9 (18.8%), ABC1 (14.7%) & Channel 10 (9%).
