The Block (1st – 1,330,000) bring it home again as Home and Away (9th – 888,000) is relegated to fourth place again. The Amazing Race Australia (10th – 886,000) launches to a timeslot win, but the late start will have kept some viewers away. Australia’s Got Talent (7th – 1,026,000), struggling from no clear Vidgen-esque contestant this season, continues to struggle to make an impact, though rating over one million helps – but it’s just not winning (and nowhere near the numbers of last season). Randling (22nd – 488,000)seems to have found it’s ratings level just sub 500,000 which is a real shame for this intelligent and funny show. Offspring (12th – 867,000) posts decent figures just as everything picks up in the plot, but it gets lost in the noise of the other shows around it. At breakfast, Sunrise (25th – 390,000) smashed The Today Show (32nd – 287,000) and place well ahead of ABC News Breakfast (85th – 46,000) and Ch10’s Breakfast (7-9am 103rd – 27,000; 6-7am 128th – 10,000; 6-9am average 19,000).
