Primary Channels

Biggest non-sporting result for the year, with Australia’s Got Talent pushing nearly 2.2 million people. Not bad for a fake grand final (yes, it’s a three hour spectacular next week announcing that Jack Vidgen’s won the winner). MasterChef Australia & The Block still pull very respectable numbers amidst this but nowhere close to the AGT figures. Thanks to big ratings from it’s lead in, Dinner Date secured a strong 9:30pm slot for Channel 7, helping them to a massive nightly share win.

Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: The Block – Ch9
7:30pm: Australia’s Got Talent (1st hour) – Ch7
8:30pm: Australia’s Got Talent (2nd hour) – Ch7
9:30pm: Dinner Date – Ch7

Channel 7 (32.4%) decimated Channel 9 (17.5%) & Channel 10 (16.6%).

Digital Multi-channels

GO! scraped a win in ahead of 7Two, 7mate and Eleven. It wasn’t to help the other networks, as the 7 Network secured a massive win across all channels on consolidated figures (and the Tuesday effort raced Channel 7 & the 7 Network into the weekly lead).
