The Block Sky High (4th – 1,073,000) maintains its dominance by rating above one million while House Rules (Tied 8th – 898,000) slides a little but not enough to be concerned. This resurgence from Rules is proving to be interesting though its losing the PR battle because of it. For some reason Mrs Brown’s Boys (Tied 8th – 898,000) also continues to rate, though it reasonably beats The Footy Show(s) (12th – 794,000) which at times makes it look high brow.

I’ve been surprised with how well House Rules has done in the last few nights. Shows the strength of the Seven brand in general I guess, and it’s ability to rebound when their shows are struggling.
I think in the end it will be deemed a modest hit, especially if the Monday night episodes continue to rate strongly.
It will be interesting to see what effect Masterchef has on Nine and Seven has when it launches Sunday week.
Hi – Yes House Rules continues to surprise, but with no Plan B Seven have to push on and it’s proving to be to their credit (a lesson for other cancel-happy networks too). I don’t think MasterChef will make the dint it has make in previous years though sadly.
