While the tennis might only be finishing its first week on air, it has helped Channel 7 kill. They haven’t lost a night and the games featuring Aussies have ensured their ratings have been up all evening, though Bernard Tomic is proving to be a bigger drawcard than Lleyton Hewitt at the moment. Audiences are so fickle. Again, it was all tennis, all the time. In the secondary race ABC1 had it all over Channels 9 & 10 with New Tricks (5th – 785,000), ABC News (6th – 740,000) & Accused (8th – 569,000) all performing well.
