Even though Channel 7 won the night on primary channel share (Ch7 – 23.1%; Ch9 – 22.7%), a massive share of 6% for GO! (beating the primary for SBS1 – 3.7%) has meant Ch9 won on consolidated share (Ch9 – 31.5%; Ch7 – 28.7%). That’s a big night all round.
Beauty and the Geek will bring home strongly next week for Ch7, ending this show on a high. Didn’t cost ’em $25m, rating better by comparison. Think about that, Ch7 programming team. Bondi Vet & Keeping up with the Joneses did well again, but overal audience share down on last week. A new ep of CSI and a half-decent performance from Getaway helped Ch9 deliver a strong night’s performance. Rake up slightly on last week – perhaps this show will perform for ABC1 despite critic’s predictions? The 7PM Project now limping towards the news relaunch on Ch10 in 2011.
