A pretty good night across the board for all the commercial networks. With all the talenty shows out of the way the schedule returns to normal – well, as normal as you can get with the 3 commercials all running nature docos (two from Attenborough) in primetime. 60 Minutes (1st – 1,165,000) triumphs though all numbers soft across the board: only five shows above one million viewers. Sunday Night (2nd – 1,124,000) not far behind. Ten’s best is the return of a new ep of Modern Family (7:30pm: 8th – 756,000; 8pm: 9th – 754,000) while Elementary (11th – 663,000) isn’t far behind and second in the 8:30pm timeslot behind Bones (10th – 682,000). The excellent Bodyline (14th – 497,000) does well against stiff competition at 7:30pm.

6:30pm: Sunday Night – Ch7
7:30pm: 60 Minutes – Ch9
8:30pm: Bones – Ch7
9:30pm: Castle – Ch7

Channel 7 won the night (21.6%), followed by Channel 9 (21.3%), Channel 10 (12.1%) & ABC1 (10.3%).
