Not a great sign that the first nominations for Big Brother (14th – 634,000) sees it beaten at 8:30pm off the back of a decent enough episode of The Block Glasshouse (1st – 1,167,000), but it’s early days yet – first eviction next week and that’s going to be a ratings high point. The Bachelor Australia (11th – 774,000) is buoyed by the elimination of Laurina and Utopia (15th – 603,000) still hanging in there for the ABC though it’s hardly been given a fighting chance with its lead-in. The Recruit (162,000) finishes up on a very big high for Fox 8.
