The final 12 has been decided, and The X Factor Australia now moves into it’s twice a week format, opening the schedule for a bunch of things – not least of which is the other networks starting to show other programming at 7:30pm now that it won’t get lost. Good news for Ch9 with Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year growing it’s ratings share for the first time since it started airing 8 weeks ago. With only 2 episodes remaining, what surprises do the boys have in store?

Channel 7 won the night (21.9%), ahead of Channel 9 (21.8%), Channel 10 (15.4%) and ABC1 (11.7%).
