A decent result for Ten with MasterChef Australia (10th- 889,000) & Offspring (8th – 931,000) holding their own in their timeslots, though MasterChef did come third to House Rules (5th – 1,072,000) and The Big Bang Theory (EP1: 3rd – 1,131,000; EP2: 11th – 848,000) – but it offered its own resistance. The Blacklist () was very soft which must have Seven wondering what to do with it in season two.
