Only one show on Tuesday that wasn’t news above 800,000 – Big Bang Theory (2nd; 982,000). On one hand it’s outrageous that so many people think it’s worth watching – but then it’s a pretty entertaining sitcom. But mostly with the outrageous part. Modern Family (8th; 747,000) repeats on Ch10 still perform well – as they should – but let down in the second half hour with a much less interesting Rules of Engagement (14th; 624,000). It’s the same story on Ch9, with BBT let down with a poorer performance from The Middle (12th; 662,000). It’s all about Ch7 though, who just proved to be too consistent even though they only had three shows in the Top 20. Movie night on GO! did great business thanks to Rush Hour (1st; 319,000).
