More big business for The Block Sky High (1st – 1,345,000) as the marathon reno program starts to look like it’s coming into the home straight. Both MasterChef Australia (8th – ) and Offspring (10th – ) reasonably solid for Ten though the latter did win the 8:30pm timeslot in a pretty slow night – Hot Seat (9th – ) was in the Top 10 for crying out loud! Burying The Mole to 9:30pm has all but assured it slide quickly out of people’s psyches. The Mid-Year Ashes: First Test – England v Australia Session 1 (16th – 627,000) drew a very reasonable crowd considering the performance of the rest of the audience – it also offered GEM 12.2% of the audience for the night, beating ABC1 and nearly beating Ten.
