A big night for two networks and not for everyone else. The Block: Fans v Faves (1st – 1,568,000) pips My Kitchen Rules (2nd – 1,550,000) at 6:30pm, but then the late LATE finishes cruel everything – just know Seven won the next two important timeslots. Sunday Night (5th – 1,297,000) again beat 60 Minutes (6th – 1,201,000) in the all important 7:50pm-ish Current Affairs programs and Downton Abbey (7th – 1,081,000) beat Fat Tony and Co (8th – 941,000) for the first time this season (a sizzling promo works wonders). Rake (10th – 561,000) continues to be under appreciated – though is second highest on catch-up viewers for last week’s ep while So You Think You Can Dance Australia (Show: 21st – 314,000; Results: 17th – 331,000) continues to struggle.
