Fridays are such weird days. Sure, people go out and don’t watch TV, but for those that do remain at home watching it’s very clear they only like watching the same few things. Better Homes and Gardens SUmmer (6th – 819,000), Midsomer Murders (8th – 713,000) – all far too predictable. The Brisbane International Tennis – Night has been a great success for 7Two, winning every night this week against all other digital multi-channel shows. For a decent sized domestic tournament this was a smart way to broadcast it. Similarly the success with the Cricket: Big Bash League on Fox Sports 2 is encouraging for the domestic Twenty20 version of the game (the Warne/Hurley factor has helped a LOT).
