Primary Channels
An interesting night indeed. MasterChef Australia drop a bombshell and rate massively (as usual for a Monday) while Can of Worms debuts solidly (but needs some work) – but that’s the end of joy for Ch10. The 7pm Project suffered badly at the hands of The Block, and 6:30 with George Negus started the week under 500K. The Amazing Race Australia won 8:30pm, but even a decent lead in like that didn’t help Teen Wolf, delivering soft numbers for it’s pilot episode.
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: The Block – Ch9
7:30pm: MasterChef Australia – Ch10
8:30pm: The Amazing Race Australia – Ch7
9:30pm: Rescue Special Ops (ep2) – Ch9
Though only winning the 7pm and 9:30pm slots, due to a consistently strong performance through the night, Channel 9 won.
Digital Multi-channels
With 400K tuning into Neighbours it again won the top show for the night, however 7Two won ahead of GO! and Eleven for the number 1 digital multi-channel for the night. The 9 Network picked up the win across all channels on consolidated figures.
