A slow night for everyone, really. Biggest Loser: Families fared best of the non-News programming, scraping just over 1m. Friday night staple Better Homes and Gardens returned delivering solid numbers for it, too. For the first time in what has seemed like an eternity, Two and a Half Men barely scored 600K for both episodes AND The 7PM Project beat it but lost to Home and Away. Flamin’ mongrels.

The encore of Blue Bloods delivering 453K for it’s Friday night repeat means the consolidated numbers for the program are actually 1.560m – not bad for a show that improves vastly on its pilot ep. Hugh Riminton’s first run at chairing 6PM with George Negus didn’t deliver awesome numbers, but was as strong as any of the other episodes to date. Both Sunrise and The Today Show both still up in numbers as the back end of the immediate Cyclone Yasi threat played out. Solid win to Channel 7.

Digital Multi-channels

Like all things demographic related for Eleven, Friday nights are downers. Neighbours is down; So You Think You Can Dance US is down. Couch time is down (shudder). It seems everybody was too busy watching everything else. A big win for GO!, closely followed by 7Two.
