Primary Channels
Wednesday is no Tuesday, but it’s easily the second biggest night of the week. Consequently a strong 1.394m for My Kitchen Rules is not unexpected, however a not-as-cool 893K from Biggest Loser: Families was. Above 800K in this market is still good, but that’s starting to push it’s luck. Farmer Wants A Wife scores a big boost from last week, up 200K. Adam Hills In Gordon St Tonight up slightly, 6PM with George Negus steady (but not as awesome as it should be, numbers wise). Blue Bloods is up from last week, but better promo needed for this sleeper hit.
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: Today Tonight – Ch7
7:00pm: Home and Away – Ch7
7:30pm: My Kitchen Rules – Ch7
8:30pm: Criminal Minds – Ch
9:30pm: RPA: Where Are They Now – Ch7
Despite a late evening charge by Channel 9, Channel 7 wins the night (again).
Digital Multi-channels
7Two are on a winner with their best of Brit drama thing. Sad that it’s EVERY NIGHT. Eleven’s animation fixation night is proving they are trying hard to program well – but more analysis is required on the demos watching the digital multi’s. Neighbours wins (of course), but the 7mate comedy/animation line up, along with the Sci-Fi classic Starship Troopers helped it to the night win by 0.1% over 7Two.
Given the big run by 7mate & 7Two, the 7 Network won the night convincingly (again). Again.
