HAPPY NEW YEAR!
With everyone in full recovery mode, there weren’t many eyes on TV (&, to be fair, there wasn’t a whole bunch to be watching either). Only the 6pm News services came in above one million viewers – and the top six spots for the night were all News or public affairs. Hamish and Andy’s Euro Gap Year (20th – 474,000) draws a respectable audience for a repeat, while MOVIE: Bridget Jones’s Diary (13th – 574,000) kept those that were not hungover still entertained into the evening.

9:30pm: MOVIE: Bridget Jones’s Diary (2nd hour) – Ch7
Channel 7 won the night (20.3%), followed by Channel 9 (18.6%), ABC1 (13.4%) & Channel 10 (10.3%).
