Back for a massive third year, the biggest and brightest television awards in Australia are here to deliver all the truth bombs the industry can handle – and all you need to do is vote!
Voting runs until 10 March 2013, with only one vote per person. That’s because once you’ve voted you’re in the running for some incredible prizes each week: TV swag packs; tickets to comedy shows (including CJ Delling, Sam Simmons & Wil Anderson); signed books (from authors like Derryn Hinch & Stephen M Irwin); places in This Is Me:Fit’s weekend retreat; a voucher from MyFace Figurines; IceTV has very generously offered 4 x 1 year subscriptions AND a HUMAX HDR-7500T PVR from their wide range of incredible products; and lots, lots more. Winners will be contacted via email and announced via Twitter and the weekly update post, so keep your eyes peeled. There’s great prizes being given away each week!
There are a couple of very special mentions for sponsors:
IceTV have very generously offered 4 x $99 yearly subscriptions to their Interactive Electronic Program Guide (EPG) as well as an overall prize of a Humax HDR-7500T PVR with a LIFETIME IceTV subcription! With IceTV’s intelligent recording EPG, you can configure your PVR or Media Centre to get all the latest guide updates as well as set to record a show or series via the Web or on your iPhone or Android device. It is without question the best EPG available on the market. Thanks IceTV!
MYFACE FIGURINES have again come on board and, apart from creating all 12 Molkies statuettes to present to their respective winners at the Molkies Awards ceremony, have generously donated a $200 voucher as a voting prize so you can win your own MyFace Figurine! The craftsmanship involved in a MyFace Figurine is completely incredible, so I’m looking forward to what Trent & his team come up with. Thanks MyFace!
It’s your turn now – time to cast your votes and see democracy done for Australian TV in a way it’s never been done before. You have the power, you have the chance to say what’s the best and the worst, what’s crap and what’s awesome. Voting… starts… NOW!

Leigh Sales – awful interview techniques. We don’t want to view super aggressive interviewing. we want the facts.
Hi Deirdre – Your opinion is welcome! Some will disagree with you, though. 🙂
Leigh Sales found herself interviewing a Man who never answers questions even at press conferences that he calls!! Maybe he has his reasons, but her job is to get answers. Which she did.
As for the Molkies?! Bring ’em on big fella! I even tried to watch some actual TV in preparation!
Leigh Sales gets so worked up and emotional when interviewing that she sometimes sounds like she’s about to cry, which is embarrassing for her and irritates the crap out of me the viewer.
Bring back Maxine McKew!
Who the hell changes channels to watch Julia Morris or Shelley Craft. Wrong category, turn offs more likely.
Hi Relf – There was always the opportunity to nominate your own fave TV personalities… beside, they’re just two of the people in a pretty full category. You only have to pick one! Next time, make sure you nominate! 🙂
Nice survey, Steve.
I’ll have to get on to the nominations next year. DEFINITELY got people to add to the “change channels to avoid” category!
For the Brown Molkie I chose Andrew O’Keefe but only for his Deal Or No Deal gig. Its so old now its not funny and even though I’m an avid Seven watcher (Im from Perth so what do u expect) I will always switch to Hot Seat then back to 7 for the news.
Also I didn’t vote for it but that Selling Houses Aussie promo was something fresh and different!!
Still enjoy Andrew on Weekend Sunrise which I think even rivals the Weekday edition in quality
Just voted in the 2013 Molkies and I look forward to seeing the results.
Any chance we can have preferential voting for 2014?
I agonised over questions 9, 11 & 12, as I really wanted to choose more than one.
Steve,
Q3 – if you seperated out the CH 10 cancellation of the Circle and their Breakfast show, it would have been a no brainer (one was dumb, the other was commercial reality).
Q9 – too many choices.
hth
Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell has done the research, walk the walk, talk the talk, put the $ where his mouth is (..mm cant think of any other cliches)
Anyhow ShaunM has brought Mad As Hell to heights never dreamt of by any other New’s program. Give the man a Molkie! He is as undeserving as any of all the other rubbish that is on MSTV – at least he is up front about it and that honesty & devotion to call a spade a spade deserves to enter into the Molkies Hall of fame indeed!
Thank you.
Kind Regards
Caro
