It’s the second last week of ratings for 2010. For some shows it’s all falling into place – we’ll miss them over the summer hiatus; for others – please don’t come back (there’s a reason you’re buried in that timeslot). Some shows wrap up this week like Junior MasterChef and Packed To The Rafters. Shows like The Block and Beauty and the Geek Australia have one more week to run (impeccably timed). Others, like Fringe are really only getting under way. With all these new digital multi-channels, the ratings may be finishing, but there’s an awful lot more room to play things out.

Raising Hope – what the hell were they thinking there? Completely aimed at the My Name is Earl market… white trash/bogans/Warney. Want to know how Cops LAC ends? No, neither does anyone else. It’s finally vanished – for now. Who knows where that foul stench will reappear, if at all. The Event  has resurfaced also, but unlikely to crawl out of it’s 10:30pm timeslot. There is a little good this week, with the pilot episode of Breaking Bad making a showing on ABC1, which should mean those that want to catch up with this series will not have their chance.
