TV Guide for week ending 20/10/12

It’s one of the biggest Sundays we’ve seen all year – not only is Ch10 dropping Super Sunday 2.0 (including new seasons of Modern Family, Homeland & Vegas), but ABC1 is delivering the first of two amazing Jack Irish telemovies alongside the always dependable House Husbands and the season 8 return of Bones. Ch10 is the pick for mine, recording House Husbands and iview Jack Irish, though that’s a very close split.

Ch7 drop another primetime soap opera/drama in Scandal which will likely entertain the masses up to the end of the ratings year, and Ch9 deliver season 25 of Survivor: Philippines with its own twists and turns (just don’t check the official website – we’re well behind). Monday night’s Q&A sure to be a cracker too with an amazing group of panellists.

Finally, The Strange Calls hits our screens on Tuesday night – a show that has already been listed for getting a pilot for US ABC network. It’s Mother & Son meets the X Files (without any of the sexual tension from either program).
