We seem to be having massive finals every other week at the moment. AGT a month ago. MasterChef Australia last week. This coming week is the last of the very successful season 3 of The Block, with the auctions taking place in real life on Saturday and then the final episode/results to air next Sunday night 21/08. Crazy. There’s still a lot of good telly this week too…

It’s brash, bold, and the central characters walk a very fine like between likeable and downright arrogant. Suits premieres this week on Ch7, though buried at 9:30pm. It’s entirely enjoyable and not overly demanding of a viewer’s attention, but it’s very easy to watch.

It’s the final week of season 3 of The Block. Everything’s complete (well, after the Sunday night episode), then it’s all about the open houses and marketing the places to sell them. 25,000 turned out for the first open house held a few weeks ago… I wonder how many appear at the auction this Saturday (results to air next Sunday night in a 2 hour finale special, followed by the launch of Underbelly Razor). It’s all happening.
