What a week we’ll see… the start of the live shows for The Voice Australia (will it maintain it’s ratings dominance?); Ch9’s much promoted/prematurely-maligned Tricky Business goes to air on Monday (after what feels like an eternity of promotion and Rafters comparisons); Once Upon A Time magically appears on our screens for Channel 7 (after at least as much promotion as Tricky Business, though a little more risk at 7:35pm); Survivor: One World premieres in Australia five days before it ends in the United States (finally!); & The Celebrity Apprentice Australia matches Nathan Jolliffe against Ian “Dicko” Dickson for a finale sure to cause controversy.
And Downton Abbey returns next Sunday night. It’s all just too much fun.

I am disgusted to see football has taken over Home and Away again. It was bad enough on a Friday night.
Do you actually think everbody likes to watch it, as if we dont get enough of football all over the weekend?
Football is big money to the networks (Channel 7 & Channel 9), and Friday night is a big night for viewing. If it’s any consolation it’s only in MEL/ADL/PER that the footy replaces Home & Away.
