Oh, it’s Christmas. Carols season is starting, & the Christmas movies pick up a gear, with two absolute crackers dropping out this week. As for the rest of the schedule… Well… The 3rd Ashes test (this one from Perth) signals the return of Warnie to our screens – ’nuff said. But if you dig deeper you’ll see there is some wonderful fare for consumption – but just be prepared do go looking (or trust me). If you love Christmas, you’ve come to the right place too!

Rake has shot to the top of my “new content worth watching over Christmas” list, equalling Raising Hope. Rake for quality drama; Raising Hope for insane hilarity. I’ve included Smokey & The Bandit to remind us of what a different time 70’s movies & TV was – and just how big the moustache on Burt Reynolds was. There’s also the pick of the Christmas movies this week – It’s A Wonderful Life & Bad Santa (good for polar opposite reasons).
