The second week of non-ratings brings a few surprises – not least of which is a new channel! NITV launches on Wednesday at 12 midday AEDT with an afternoon full of good content culminating in a concert live from Uluru. A fantastic way to welcome in a channel dedicated to quality indigenous programming.

Geraldine Doogue presents Who Makes The News on ABC News 24 this week – a one off special looking at the news makers as well well as those that reported the big events in Australia over the last 30 or so years.

Louis In Hell: Return to the Most Hated Family has Theroux revisiting the Westboro Baptist Church and the family at the centre of the controversy. He is again allowed access to the family who continue to deride and chastise him for his weak demeanour and lack of faith. There’s also interview with children of the family who have left the cult.

Celebrity Come Dine With Me Australia matches Prue MacSween, Chloe Maxwell, Kris Smith & Josh Thomas in what will surely be a delightfully entertaining and chaotic look at these four celebs and their attempt to put on a dinner party for each other.

A year in the life of one of the toughest talking female comics in the business – Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work is an intriguing warts and all insight into life with the comedian, the works she’s had done, and how she continues to grow opportunities just by being herself.

Finally Up All Night returns to the primetime hour of 11:15pm Thursday. Set your PVRs for this enjoyable sitcom starring Wil Arnett & Christina Applegate that can’t get a break on Ch7.
