So begins the great series of finales in the middle of 2012 that have “absolutely nothing to do with Channel 9 running the Olympics for a couple of weeks”. Suuuuuuure.
Channel 9 aren’t absolved of guilt though, banishing Tricky Business to end it’s run late on Wednesday nights with no second season commissioned. Channel 7 launching Fairly Legal gives you a fair indication of what they’re making of it also – not much. At least Tuesday’s should be filled with some fun now that Wilfred season two launches this week.
We do bid a fond, if not overdue farewell to the ladies of Wisteria Lane as Desperate Housewives sails off into the sunset with the series finale this Thursday night. It’s a shame that Channel 7 aren’t running it at a more reasonable hour for fans given it was one of the landmark shows the network used to help turn it’s fortunes around not that many years ago.
