It slows up a little bit this week, but quality is what’s required in our new shows and they all deliver. The ones that matter, anyway (there is just no explaining Excused).
Ch9’s latest drama House Husbands slides into Sunday nights and, at the risk of sounding like I like it, I really like it. Strong performances across the cast and an engaging script will draw viewers in and maybe – just maybe – it could be the success Ch9 need it to be.
After a far longer absence than required, Rake hits our screens again this Thursday and it’s *so good* to have Cleaver Greene back on our screens reminding us why we’re appalled by him and yet so want to be him. Following him Alex Burchill is back to give us the Lowdown on the life of a tabloid newshound… just watch out for the karma bus.
