Well, they’re announced, and pending any kind of injunction or legal challenge, they’ll sit at the big desk and tell us what they declare to be the best of Australia’s talent (from the pool that auditioned, anyway). If you run a reality comp you need judges. Judge they shall… From the press release:

Mel B, Dawn French, Timomatic and Kyle Sandilands have now been confirmed as the judging panel for Australia’s Got Talent; set to be entertainment television’s biggest revolution when it moves to the Nine Network in 2013.

Speaking from London, Dawn French says: “I already know Australia’s got talent but can’t wait to see it myself – I’m gagging for it.”

Mel B said earlier this week: “I’m having a wonderful time working with the America’s Got Talent team and I can’t wait to join the incredible line up of judges for Australia’s Got Talent on Nine. I know we will have a blast, and I’m sure some fireworks as well.”

Timomatic says: “I am so honoured and excited to be invited to be a judge on the Nine’s new season of Australia’s Got Talent. This show has been a massive pinnacle in my career to date and I can’t wait to share this opportunity with Australia’s next superstars!”

Kyle Sandilands: “I’m really excited to be joining the bigger and better Australia’s Got Talent on Nine. I have loved working on the show before and I will love working on the re-invented version with Channel Nine. I can’t wait to see what talent Australia has in store.”
