It’s all ABC1 for a Saturday night (again) – winning 6:30pm, 7:30pm & 8:30pm against it’s commercial rivals. Seven News (1st – 1,346,000) tops out by nearly 400,000 on its nearest rival, and due to its coverage of Nine’s Rugby: Bledisloe Cup: NZ v Aus (11th – 385,000) a pushed back Nine News (4th – 705,000) is almost lost in the noise. In Ch9’s favour though, the replay of part one of Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War (17th – 318,000) didn’t hurt in adding those figures to the show’s success.

Channel 7 won the night (24.8%), followed by ABC1 (17.3%), Channel 9 (15.1%) & Channel 10 (6.5%).
