Digital Multi-channels
Neighbours wins – check. A good competition within the digital multi-channels, with 7mate as the surprise winner (by 0.1% on 7Two). Not surprisingly, given the lack of interest on the primary channels, the share for the combined digital multis was 26.3% – over one quarter of the viewing audience were not on the primary channels. That there was some good programming only supports this: Megastructures, Jurassic Park, Mighty Ships – all good, mind-numbing TV.
7mate wins just ahead of 7Two, with Eleven and GO! tied for third. The 7 Network wins on consolidated figures.
I remember when Thurs used to be a rocking night for tv, Lost would regularly get almost 2m viewer ratings, now the top shows struggle to crack 1m, it’s almost as dead as Fri/Sat nights.
