The X Factor Australia (1st – 1,478,000) leads the way again and helps Ch7 to another big daily win – even Criminal Minds (3rd – 1,121,000) benefited from the strong lead in. Farmer Wants A Wife (10th – 936,000) performs admirably given the competition and it’s 8pm start, and Big Brother (9th – 1,031,000) loses for the first time to Home and Away (8th – 1,062,000) this season. Gruen Planet (11th – 906,000) remains strong for ABC1 and Puberty Blues (12th – 843,000) dips slightly for Ch10, who can’t seem to even buy a win at the moment.
I Will Survive (25th – 427,000) dips lower on its second episode, leaving everyone to make jokes at the expense of the show title. Dallas (19th – 545,00) premieres a little softer than Ch9 would have hoped, and Big Brother Confidential (27th – 382,000) delivers somewhat as expected for a show running at 10:10pm for its premiere.
